Therapeutic Approach

My approach is collaborative and creative. I believe in creating a safe space for all individuals to explore feelings and experiences.

We might start to feel unsafe in certain situations. We might find ourselves stuck in old patterns, feeling difficulty in how to move forward.

From an attachment perspective, we can explore how your past impacts your present. Our experiences in life shape how we move through and view the world around us.

We can make space to bring in small changes that stick.

Nervous system regulation is a key part of my practice. Mindfully turning attention towards your individual nervous system, and making room to explore your history, helps us understand how your system responds to stressors. This can open up a pathway to healing and change.

I use a strengths-based approach that’s infused with humor — therapy may be challenging, but it doesn’t always have to feel heavy.

Allowing space for laughter can shift the energy, invite a moment of reflection, and bring a human quality to the work.

We can visually explore feelings using art therapy — in my practice, it generally works alongside talk therapy. This process allows for outward examination of internal experiences for the purpose of self-realization and growth.
